We are currently looking for a dynamic team player to be our Junior Chief Financial Officer working from our Medellin office but overseeing multiple international business contracts and transactions. This is a multi-role position that requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills. The candidate must be able to work well with others and will be in charge of coordinating and managing several duties assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

Here’s a non-exhaustive list of common tasks that will be required to complete.

Drive the company’s financial planning.
Responsible, for all cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
Work with the senior management to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting.
Identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement.
Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
Manage vendor relationships
Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
Manage and reconcile all invoices and receipts as required by the company’s operations.
Coordinate and follow up with team members based in other different countries.
Assist in any and all accounting reconciliation process with the Airline.
Filing, updating, maintaining and organizing paper and electronic documents, such as emails and reports related to the company´s operations.
Ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines.
Have a proactive and problem-solving approach to any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Qualification and skills

Preferred experience as CFO, Finance officer or a similar accounting role for 3-5 years.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
Ability to strategize and solve problems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
CPA is a strong advantage.
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English B1-B2 is a must).
Ability to multitask.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize.
High attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure and flexible with your working hours.


A minimum of 3 years’ Experience within the business / accounting sector.
International experience a plus.


Candidate must have his/her own laptop
Candidate will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure and Non-Compete agreement
Candidate must have a valid passport and be able to travel
